The Coast’s Best of Halifax 2016 Awards
2016 marked The Coast’s 22nd annual Best of Halifax Readers Choice Awards. Every year, the Coast asks Haligonians to nominate their favourite food, drink, shops, music, and services in our beautiful city. This year, over 12,000 votes were cast, and we are so excited to announce that we have winners in our midst! The Bicycle Thief
Since first opening its doors, The Bicycle Thief has been one of Halifax’s most loved restaurants, evidenced by their collection of BOH awards. Their Italian inspired menu draws on the best local produce, making The Bicycle Thief the perfect place to bring friends or family for a special occasion, especially when they’re visiting from out of town. Not to mention, the views of the harbour along the boardwalk are simply spectacular.

Ristorante a Mano
There are few things in life more comforting than authentic Italian food, and nobody else in Halifax does it quite like Risorante a Mano. With a menu full of traditional pizzas, house made pastas and innovative salads, it’s not surprising that a Mano brought home some gold hardware in the 2016 BOH awards.
