Waterfront Development has completed one more step in its RFP process for the Cunard Development on the Halifax waterfront by selecting Southwest Properties/Minett Real Estate Services as the preferred proponent.

The Cunard Development will create a high quality, architecturally significant, dynamic mixed-use project. The RFP invited proposals from parties potentially interested in entering into a long-term land lease with Waterfront Development to construct, own and operate the mixed-use project. This project is a 1.5-acre site located at the intersection of Lower Water Street and Morris Street. The initial construction estimate is $75 million.
