Alzheimer Duck Derby

Join the 10,000 little yellow participants of the Alzheimer Duck Derby as they hold their annual race right in front of Bishop’s Landing tomorrow from 12pm.

Race Day Activities

Saturday, September 24th in front of Bishop’s Landing.

12:00 pm- FREE Kids Zone and BMO Adoption Centres open

12:30 pm- Best Dress Quacker Contest winner announced

1:00 pm- Very Important Ducks Race- The Duck Cup is up for grabs

1:30 pm-FREE Kids’ Duck Costume Contest with prizes (12 years and under)

2:00 pm- Alzheimer Duck Derby- 10,000 rubber ducks race

2:30 pm- Winners are announced

Your duck adoption ensures Nova Scotian families and persons with the disease receive support and education about dementia. One lucky duck is guaranteed to win a 2012 Hyundai Accent or many other prizes.

Ducks are adopted for $10 each or a flock of three for $25. Watch your ducks race on Saturday, September 24, 2011 on the Halifax waterfront in front of Bishop’s Landing. Adopters do not need to be at the race to win.
