Burger Week 2020 at Bishop’s Landing

Burger week in Halifax may have been postponed in March, but it’s back now from October 22 to 31, 2020. That’s right, it’s scheduled to last longer than the original one! Whether you like to try as many burgers as possible or enjoy staying away from all things burger week, Bishop’s Landing is your safe dining destination this fall. Here are four ways to savour Burger Week at Bishop’s Landing.

  1. Conquer the Vesuvius Burger at The Bicycle Thief
  2. Taste the Korean Burger at Sea Smoke
  3. Try Boards over Burgers at Little Oak
  4. Discover Why Pasta’s Better than Patties at Ristorante a Mano

1.Conquer the Vesuvius Burger at The Bicycle Thief

Try the Italian-themed Vesuvius Burger from The Bicycle Thief during Burger Week. It’s a ground tenderloin burger with applewood-smoked provolone, double smoked bacon, red onion marmalade, smoked jalapeño aioli, lettuce, tomato, and an onion ring on a hand-made brioche bun, served with sea salted frites. $5 from every burger will be donated to Feed Nova Scotia.

2. Taste the Korean Burger at Sea Smoke

The Asian-inspired Korean burger at Sea Smoke packs a lot of flavour between a toasted brioche bun—all for just $6! Enjoy the seasoned all-beef patty topped with a Korean BBQ glaze, chili garlic-infused mayo, kimchi coleslaw, and a slice of crispy pork belly. Take out is available.

3. Try Boards over Burgers at Little Oak

If you prefer your meat and cheese on a charcuterie board instead of between a bun, Little Oak has just the thing for you. They recently launched their Sunday board specials, where their talented team curates three delicious boards to choose from and pairs them with a lovely wine. When you buy a board, you will get $10 off a bottle of wine as well! It’s okay to admit that Sunday is now your new favourite day.

4. Discover Why Pasta’s Better than Patties at Ristorante a Mano

Think pasta is better than a patty? Try the handmade potato gnocchi with short rib ragu at Ristorante a Mano. Think of it as a distant Italian cousin of burger and fries. Of course, all pizza and pasta lovers will find something delicious at Ristorante a Mano because it’s all handmade!
