Experience the Taste of Nova Scotia Wines
This Friday, August 19th, Bishop’s Cellar is hosting a Nova Scotian wine tasting event from 5:00 until 7:00pm. Nova Scotia is quickly becoming a world-famous wine producing region, with nearly 20 wineries and vineyards showcasing the land’s rich character and distinctive tastes.
Since they opened in 2003, Bishop’s Cellar has been proudly championing Nova Scotian wines and wineries. Register now for A Taste of Nova Scotia’s Wines this Friday and sip your way across the province.
Joining Bishop’s Cellar for the event is Bishop’s Landing newcomer Haskapa, another supporter (and producer!) of local foods. They’ll be handing out samples of their delicious locally-made haskap berry products, including haskap jam, haskap chutney, haskap relish, and more! Discover the incredible, versatile taste of the Nova Scotia-grown haskap berry while getting to know Bishop’s Cellar’s brand new neighbour.
A Taste of Nova Scotia’s Wines will also feature local cheese boards and oysters from Afishionado. Founded in 2014, Afishionado is a group of community-minded fishmongers dedicated to educating consumers about Nova Scotian fishing traditions through workshops, cooking classes, and tasting events. They’ll be on site all evening shucking oysters and talking about their latest catches.
If you’re passionate about local food and drink, this is an event you shouldn’t miss. Tickets are limited, so register now for A Taste of Nova Scotia’s Wines and taste the best NS has to offer!
