Summer Lovin’ by the Intuitive Shopper

With summer coming to a close, many of us are reflecting on how we spent the sunny season here in Halifax.

Jessesar Mitchell who blogs at The Intuitive Shopper was no exception, and she had some lovely things to say about Bishop’s Landing and The Bicycle Thief in her latest blog post:

“After three trips to the Bicycle Thief this summer, I’ve decided this restaurant has the atmosphere I’ve been searching for all my life. The restaurant category for my motto, “I’ll know what I want when I find it” can be checked off the list. It’s kind of loud but in a good way, the decor is kind of glitzy formal – metallic and bright yet intimate, casual and cozy. I think those are all opposite characteristics but you’ll understand what I mean when you try it. Of the many things on the many I tried and enjoyed, my favourite is the salmon, pecan encrusted. I’ve had it twice. And you can’t beat the location – Bishop’s Landing. Perfect spot for a summer evening meal with friends.”
